Heart Disease is the #1 Cause of Death in the Black Community
Help Us Stamp Out Stroke and Prevent Heart Attacks!
CHERISH is a heart disease prevention program being delivered in 42 African American churches across all denominations in New Orleans, Louisiana. The overall goal of CHERISH is to implement the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Guideline on the Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in the African American community to help improve cardiovascular health for all.
The governing motto behind the CHERISH program: children should know their grandparents. We are proud to play a small role in making that happen.
